Transmitter for viscosity sensors
Maximum flexibility for optimum choice of measuring instrument: The VS-D250 and VS-4450 transmitters are compatible with all ViscoScope® sensors of types VA-100 and VA-300. Viscosity ranges are covered by the internal resolution of 16 bits over four decades (e.g. 1 - 10,000 or 10 - 100,000 etc.). Even for measurements with very small viscosity difference (example: milk and whey) the transmitters work precisely. Both transmitters VS-4450 and VS-D250 are equipped with a freely configurable display. The transmission of measurement and diagnostic data to a process control system is done via industry standard analog or digital interfaces. The VS-4450 is optionally available with 2 SPDT relays for time proportional control or alarms. The VS-D250 model is designed for DIN rail mounting.

The VS-4450 transmitter is compatible with all VA-100 and VA-300 ViscoScope® sensors and their predecessors. This ensures maximum flexibility when selecting the ideal instrument and replacing older transmitters. The internal resolution is 16 bits, which provides excellent coverage of viscosity ranges over 4 decades (e.g. 1 - 10,000 or 10 - 100,000 etc.). The transmitter can also be adjusted for measurements with a very low difference in viscosity (example: milk and whey). This model features a freely configurable display. Measurement and diagnostic data are transmitted to a process control system via analog or industry standard digital interfaces. The VS-4450 is available with 2 SPDT relays (optional) that provide time-proportional control or alarms. Built to the 19” standard, the transmitter is supplied in the control panel housing unless otherwise requested. However, other suitable housings, e.g. 19” rack, wall or Ex-d housings are possible.”

Inline Viscosity Sensor VA-100
The ViscoScope® sensors are made of high-quality, first-class stainless steel and impress with their intelligent, robust design. All parts in contact with the process are completely welded. Moving parts do not wear out and there are no leaks that damage the inside of the sensor housing. Inside each ViscoScope® viscometer is a Pt100 integrated into the sensor. The VA-100 sensor for viscosity measurement is manufactured as standard and is available with two probe versions in one temperature class and three different process connections.

The Kemtrak TC007 is an easy to operate industrial process fiber optic turbidimeter designed to accurately measure the concentration of light scattering components. Measurements are real time and in-line. Long life solid state LED lamps and precision fiber optics are used to provide drift and noise free measurement at very high precision. The Kemtrak TC007 can be configured to use the nephelometric method of turbidity measurement in accordance with International Standard ISO7027:1999(E). In this mode, a proprietary algorithm mathematically combines the ratio of attenuated and scattered light to accurately monitor the turbidity of the sample. Automatic compensation of sample color and fouling of the optical windows ensures trouble free operation. Maintenance free measurement cells with scratch resistant sapphire windows have no electronics or moving parts making the unit suitable for hazardous area use.

The mercury process analyzer PA-2 is used for continuous monitoring of mercury concentrations in industrial processes. Applications include effluent and quality control in chlorine-alkali plants, monitoring of scrubber water of waste incinerators and power plants, control of industrial sewage and purification plants, quality control of sulphuric acid, drinking water. Special version also for concentrated caustic solutions (NaOH, KOH).

The Liebherr in situ water content determination Litronic-FMS III-RMH12 is used to detect the water content (concentration determination) even in very low ppm ranges in emulsions such as diesel fuel, transmission, hydraulic, engine, roller bearing, transformer and turbine oil as well as in battery systems.

Small, fine, excellent: The Liebherr P78 sensor in conjunction with the Liebherr FMS moisture measuring installation has become indispensable for many industrial processes. The moisture measuring installation was invented in 1985 at the Bad Schussenried factory. Measurement by the Liebherr sensor system is based on the physical principle of capacitance determination in the high-frequency stray field. In addition to their high precision and robustness, the measuring devices from Bad Schussenried are characterised by their reproducibility. Once the sensor has been calibrated, further measuring points can be set up or devices renewed on this basis at any time without great effort. The plant thus always remains reliable, regardless of its previous term and age.

The Kemtrak FL007 is a fiber optic probe based oil in water monitor. A state-of-the-art combined fluorescence and turbidity measurement assures reliable continuous monitoring of oil and hydrocarbon contamination in water. Mineral oils rich in aromatic content will fluoresce when illuminated with ultraviolet light. The intensity of this fluorescence is dependent upon the polyaromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content of the oil. Typical oils that fluoresce include fuel oil, crude oil, hydraulic oil and transformer oil.

The Kemtrak DCP007 is an easy to operate industrial fiber optic photometer designed to accurately measure the concentration and color of process samples. Measurements are real time and in-line. The Kemtrak DCP007 uses a long life high performance LED light source with robust industrial grade fiber optics to provide drift and noise-free measurement with very high precision. A proprietary dual wavelength four channel measurement technique and advanced digital electronics design allows deep absorbance measurement to 5 AU. A range of shorter optical pathlengths allow for deeper absorbance measurements. Automatic compensation for sample turbidity and/or fouling of the optical windows ensures trouble free operation. Maintenance free measurement cells with sapphire windows have no electronics or moving parts making the unit suitable for hazardous area use.

The Kemtrak DCP007-NIR is an advanced dual wavelength NIR photometer designed to accurately measure the concentration of process liquids and gasses with near-infrared (NIR) absorbance between 800 and 1550 nm. Examples of NIR measurements include moisture (water & trace water), ethanol, methanol, sodium hydroxide, ammonia and continuous fuel identification. The Kemtrak DCP007-NIR uses a long life high performance NIR LED light source with robust industrial grade fiber optics to deliver a drift and noise-free measurement with very high precision. Automatic compensation for sample turbidity and/or fouling of the optical windows ensures trouble free operation.
