Heated solenoid valve

Modell iFiD SHED

The heated solenoid-valve prevents dilution or increase of the measurement gas concentration by giving up zero gas as well as test gas during or before the shed test measurement.

Applications

The FID is regularly checked by a two-point calibration. Here, zero gas (N2 or synthetic air) or test gas (C3H8 or CH4) is switched on to see that a reliable measurement result has been achieved. In this case, the problem arises in the shed test that an enrichment takes place via the sample path through appropriate gases, if these are not dissipated in other ways.
